Together through their faiths and beliefs to share the commonalities

towards creating cohesive and harmonious communities.
The forum is an annual membership organization open to faith groups
and groups of groups, who agree with the aims and aspirations of our constitution
The forum works in partnership with various voluntary, community
and faith sector organizations.
We are a partner organization of Leeds Initiative with a seat on
Narrowing the Gap Board and participate in Leeds Initiative Strategy

LEEDS INTER FAITH WEEK
Celebrating Faith Festivals
Thursday 25th November 2010 at the Leeds City Museum
Cynthia Dickinson who is the secretary of Leeds Concord as well as secretary of the Leeds Faiths Forum organised a splendid day of exhibitions and displays during the Inter Faith Week.
The title was Celebrating Faith Festivals and nine faith groups within Leeds took part in this very successful enterprise.
The programme was introduced by the Chair of Leeds Concord Interfaith Fellowship and the Community History Co-ordinator of Leeds Museum and it was opened by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Leeds.
As well as exhibitions, there were displays of Indian Temple dancing, music from different faiths, food tasting, trying clothes, turban-tying, henna painting, Tibetan singing bowl and time for meditation as well as inter faith games and quizzes.
It was good to see so many people attending as well as a large number of young people who joined in the activities and were absorbed in the atmosphere and the exhibitions.
It was a very interesting, stimulating and successful day - well done Cynthia and all those involved.
